Happiness at School Week is just around the corner!

Since 2020, Cergy Université's BONHEURS laboratory has launched the Happiness at School Week, an initiative that celebrates the happiness of learning and teaching, with which ScholaVie and the Lab School Network have been associated since 2022. The Observatory of Well-Being at School continues to support this initiative. This year's event will take place from March 17 to 23, 2025.

The Happiness at School Week offers an opportunity to get together, share ideas and implement innovative projects to promote well-being within the educational community. The themes addressed include the different facets of happiness: cognitive, social, physical and relational. They enable us to rethink educational practices and foster an environment where everyone - students and teachers alike - can achieve their full potential.

This initiative aims to mobilize teachers, students, parents and all players in the school ecosystem around a common vision: an inclusive and caring school. By promoting a wealth of approaches and experiences, it encourages the emergence of concrete practices that strengthen links between individuals and create a framework conducive to collective fulfillment.

This 2025 edition features, as in previous years, an updated activity booklet designed for kindergarten through to high school, available to inspire concrete classroom practices. In addition, the Lab School Network now offers several video testimonials from teachers who have tried out these activities, to share inspiring feedback, as well as interviews with researchers working in the field of happiness at school.

The booklet will soon be available on the Lab School Network website and the videos on its YouTube channel. We hope this new format will inspire you and your students to get involved in the Happiness at School adventure!
