Throughout the year, students learn the basics of computer programming by coding games on a platform called Scratch. They will develop technical skills such as blocks, instructions, events, loops, conditions and variables, as well as soft skills like perseverance, self-confidence and group work. Science within reach of bricks! By confronting problems to solve, children gain self-confidence and show initiative. Introduction to engineering, architecture and mechanics with LEGO® bricks.

As part of the International Baccalaureate CAS, this workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to explore and express their creativity through the analysis of artistic works, mainly in the fields of literature, cinema, theater and poetry, in the Spanish language.

Content: 

The workshop will take the form of interactive analyses of selected works, followed by discussions and reflections on their meaning and impact. Participants will be encouraged to draw inspiration from these works to create their own artistic achievements,mainly in writing.

Activities : 

In addition to discussions and writing exercises, the workshop will also feature practical activities such as theatrical performances in Spanish, enabling participants to put into practice the concepts and techniques studied. In addition, short films in Spanish will be made and recorded by the students, offering an immersive and collaborative experiencein the world of Spanish-speaking art and culture.

Objectives : 

- Encourage creativity and artistic expression among high school students.

- Promote understanding and appreciation of artistic works in Spanish.

- Develop participants' linguistic and cultural skills in a stimulating, collaborative environment.

Annual price for Jazz/rock ensemble lessons - 1H : 600€

During robotics workshops, students will learn to build, understand and program robots. These are equipped with motors and sensors, and are programmed using Scratch.

Sketching, perspective, collage, scraping, sculpture, watercolor, weaving ... a year to discover or perfect different techniques, open up to and share with a variety of artists, create for oneself and/or as a gift.  Conditions permitting, we'll be organizing outings and an exhibition of the young artists' creations at the end of the year.

This year, join The Break workshops for a journey into the world of theater.

Every Tuesday, with an Anglo-Saxon teacher, you'll explore this universe in English: improvisation and role-playing, reading lines, performing sketches, creating characters, and finally creating your own play with the group.

Step by step, you'll become immersed in the language, experiencing it first-hand: using your imagination to create a story, reading texts to understand what makes a strong plot, enjoying performing on stage with your peers. Join the troupe and have fun donning the hats of playwright, director, spectator and actor!

Open to all language levels, from 7th grade upwards.

Group size limited to 12 participants.

Our sports teacher offers an introduction to Hip Hop dance.  Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm (except vacations) For children from 1st to 6th grade.

Discover your inner author! Discover the magic of words and the power of your imagination through a variety of fun and unexpected writing activities. Be inspired by published and aspiring writers alike, as you share your work and discover what others are up to. Gain self-confidence and embark on a longer writing project that we'll “edit” together. At the end of the 32 sessions, you'll be proud to hold your book in your hands!
