Born in Santa Barbara, California, Diego grew up in Madrid. He also lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and moved to Paris in 2012. With a degree in political science specializing in Latin America and a master's in contemporary culture, he worked in Spain for many years in the publishing and book industries. Literature has always played an important role in his life: his mother is a well-known writer, and he has published four novels in Spain. One of these novels has just been translated and published in France.

He has been teaching Spanish in Paris for over ten years. For him, education is a true vocation and an authentic way of life.
