Benjamin Grégoire
French teacher for middle and high school
Originally from Strasbourg, Benjamin began his career as a teacher of modern literature in the Académie de Versailles. For four years, he worked in the Val d'Oise, where he experienced a wide range of social backgrounds and school levels (collège, lycée, BTS).
Eager to travel and enrich his practice through contact with other conceptions of teaching, he joined the French-American School of Chicago (EFAC) in 2021, an integrated structure within the American public school system. These three years are an opportunity for him to continue his academic training: he teaches history-geography alongside French, and learns about neuroscience applied to education.
Passionate about music and role-playing games, literature and cinema, Benjamin places playfulness, empathy and the study of creative processes at the heart of his pedagogy.
