Angeline Williams
English-speaking teacher - 3rd/4th grade
After two years at Lab School as the anglophone CP/CE1 teacher, Angeline is excited to accompany her students on the next stage of their learning adventure in CE2/CM1! Angeline is from Wales, Great Britain, and as a child she always dreamed of living in Paris. She spent a great deal of her childhood with her head buried in a book, and this passion for reading and for writing led her to study English Literature at Cardiff University.
After finishing her degree, she had the opportunity to teach English in Thailand. She loved the experience and decided to pursue education as a lifelong career. In 2001 she gained a PGCE at Middlesex University, and for ten years after this Angeline taught in a range of schools throughout London, gaining experience of teaching all primary age groups and a valuable insight into the development of the English curriculum. Angeline moved to Spain in 2013, and for seven years she taught in international schools in Malaga and Barcelona. In 2020 she finally fulfilled her dream of moving to Paris, and she is delighted to have found Lab School and to have the opportunity to teach in such a collaborative, child-centred environment.
Angeline’s mission as a teacher is to make learning fun, linking topics and ideas in a creative way in order to engage the children’s curiosity about the world. Above all, she remains passionate about writing, and helping her pupils to find their inner poet!
