Rebecca Shankland is University Professor of Developmental Psychology at Université Lumière Lyon 2, Laboratoire Développement, Individu, Personnalité, Handicap, Education.

She is in charge of the University Diploma in Positive Psychology at Grenoble Alpes University, and a member of GRIPA (Groupement de Recherche et d'Intervention sur la Présence Attentive) at the Université du Québec in Montreal, Canada.

She has published several books, including Ces liens qui nous font vivre : Eloge de l'interdépendance, co-authored with Christophe André (2020) and Les pouvoirs de la gratitude published by Odile Jacob (2016), and La psychologie positive (2019).
