Miriam Teschl

Lecturer and researcher (GREQAM), economist

Senior lecturer at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales

Miriam Teschl is a lecturer at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). Following studies in economics and philosophy, she works mainly on interdisciplinary themes such as identity (of the economic agent), decision making with competing motivations, as well as welfare and social justice.

Her conceptual research on well-being and social justice has recently led her to take up the theme of education, with a particular interest in intercultural education and language learning. In addition, she has begun to address the issue of refugee education, exploring the possibilities of “virtual” teaching based on new digital and mobile technologies.
