Lou Aisenberg
Throughout her studies in law and political science, Lou Aisenberg has always been interested in the reform movements that have affected and continue to affect the French education system. Her first dissertation in public policy analysis (Paris II), followed by her second dissertation in the political philosophy of education (EHESS), led her to take a particular interest in the links between education systems and the processes of disintegration or reinforcement of social cohesion. Her experiences at the Institut français de l'éducation (ENS-Lyon) and then at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) gave her the opportunity to deepen and enrich her understanding of contemporary educational and social issues.
In addition to preparing her thesis, Lou is responsible, along with Daniel Verba (univ. Paris 13) and Miriam Teschl (EHESS), for the Lab School Network's School Climate and Living Together research axis. She is also coordinating, with Pascale Haag (EHESS) and members of the Compas Group (ENS-Paris), the Education, Innovations and Society seminar to be held at EHESS during the 2016-2017 academic year.
