Angeline Williams

Anglophone Teacher - 1st/2nd grade

Angeline is from Wales, Great Britain, and as a child she always dreamed of living in Paris. Moreover, she has always had a great passion for reading and writing, and spent a great deal of her childhood with her nose in a book. This led her to study English Literature at Cardiff University.

After finishing her degree, she had the opportunity to teach English in Thailand. She loved the experience, and this led her to pursue education as a lifelong career. In 2001 she moved London to study a Post Graduate Certificate of Primary Education at Middlesex University.

When she had graduated and received Qualified Teacher Status, Angeline taught in a range of schools throughout London. For the next ten years, she gained experience of teaching all ages within primary, and this gave her a valuable insight of the development of the English curriculum throughout the primary years.

In 2013 Angeline had the chance to move to Malaga, Spain, where she taught at St George’s British School. In 2015 the company expanded to Barcelona, and she worked as part of the team which established a new school there. She remained at St George’s Barcelona for five years. In 2020, Angeline finally realised her dream of moving to Paris, and for the past two years she has taught in a bilingual school in Boulogne-Billancourt.

Angeline’s mission as a teacher is to make learning fun, linking topics and ideas in a creative way in order to engage the children’s curiosity about the world. She remains passionate about writing, and helping her pupils to find their inner poet! She is now very excited to move onto the next stage of her career at Lab School, where she is keen to share her enthusiasm for education and to accompany her new class in the next stage of their learning adventure.
