Pauline Ferrand

French-speaking teacher - 3rd/4th grade

Passionate about languages from an early age, Pauline dreamed of becoming an interpreter. She therefore obtained a degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English-Spanish) from the University of Paris Diderot. During this degree, she had the opportunity to carry out several internships and discovered the teaching profession, which interested her greatly. Having often worked with children of all ages during her teenage years and her studies, she decided to continue with a Master MEEF Professeur des écoles. She passed her competitive examination in 2016 and taught for seven years in public schools around Paris. She also went on several language immersion stays, notably in England and Ireland, which enabled her to practice her English further. Outside school, she is passionate about music, concerts and baking. She is particularly interested in alternative pedagogies and new learning methodologies. Her priority is also to develop well-being at school.
