Frédérique Alexandre-Bailly
Professor of Management at ESCP Europe and Managing Director of ONISEP
Frédérique has been a professor of management at ESCP Europe since 1998, where she was elected Dean of Faculty from 2008 to 2014. She has headed the Management Department and coordinated student inclusion and diversity policies. She also directed the INCLUDEE Research Center, Inclusion, Uniqueness and Diversity in Education and Enterprises. Her organizational and management research focuses on three areas: autonomy in the workplace, age diversity and the management of higher education establishments.
After serving as Rector of the Dijon Academy and Chancellor of Universities from 2016 to 2021, she became Managing Director of ONISEP. Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite, she is a member of several boards of higher education establishments and of the board of directors of the Société Française de Management. She is the author of L'autonomie dans l'entreprise (Editions Universitaires Européennes, 2011) and co-author of Comportements Humains et Management (Pearson, 2013, fourth edition) and Former les managers (Vuibert, 2008). She brings to her work a dual background in philosophy (DEA in the history of philosophy, Université Paris X, 1995) and management (HEC and CEMS master's degree, 1991; doctorate in management science, HEC, 2001).
