Aurélien is a lecturer at Paris-Ouest University, where he teaches ancient Greek, rhetoric and digital humanities. His work focuses on enigmas and the practice of obscurity in the ancient world, Athenaeus of Naucratis' Deipnosophists, classical philology and digital scholarly publishing.

His teaching practice and his attention to the issues, history and epistemology of digital humanities, as well as his experience as a father, fuel his interest in the evolution of educational practices.
